Grondige revisie van een iconische chronograaf<\/b><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcf8 Over het horloge<\/b><\/span>
\nEen Breitling Chronomat B13050.1 met het robuuste ETA 7750 automatische chronograafuurwerk. Een echte klassieker, voorzien van een prachtige parelmoer wijzerplaat met gouden accenten.
\nBij binnenkomst was het horloge technisch toe aan een volledige revisie en had de kast en band zichtbaar jarenlang gebruik achter de rug.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd27 Probleemstelling<\/b><\/span>
\nTijdens de inspectie kwamen meerdere aandachtspunten naar voren:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Sterk vervuild uurwerk door oude, vervuilde smeermiddelen
\n\u2013 Drooggelopen lagerstenen van de balansas
\n\u2013 Slijtage aan diverse draaipunten
\n\u2013 Duidelijke gebruikssporen op kast en band<\/p>\n

Hoewel het uurwerk nog functioneerde, was verder gebruik zonder onderhoud een risico voor verdere slijtage.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udded Uitgevoerde werkzaamheden<\/b><\/span>
\n\u2013 Volledige demontage van het ETA 7750
\n\u2013 Ultrasoon reinigen van kast en band
\n\u2013 Inspectie op slijtage en beschadigingen
\n\u2013 Herstel van de drooggelopen balansas dekstenen
\n\u2013 Opnieuw smeren volgens fabrieksspecificaties
\n\u2013 Afregeling en uitgebreide test
\n\u2013 Polijsten en satineren van kast en band met behoud van de originele afwerking
\n\u2013 Eindcontrole van chronograaf- en datumfunctie<\/p>\n

\u2699\ufe0f Technische afweging<\/b><\/span>
\nHet ETA 7750 staat bekend als een uiterst betrouwbaar chronograafuurwerk, maar is wel gevoelig voor langdurig uitgesteld onderhoud.
\nDe lagering van de balans draait met zeer hoge snelheid en is volledig afhankelijk van een microscopisch dun laagje olie. Wanneer deze uitdroogt ontstaat metaal-op-metaal contact, waardoor slijtage snel toeneemt. Tijdig ingrijpen voorkomt dat kostbare onderdelen vervangen moeten worden.
\nBij deze revisie kon de oorspronkelijke balans behouden blijven doordat de slijtage nog op tijd werd ontdekt.<\/p>\n

\u23f1\ufe0f Resultaat<\/b><\/span>
\nNa de revisie functioneert de chronograaf weer zoals bedoeld en is het uurwerk klaar voor vele jaren betrouwbaar gebruik.
\nDe combinatie van een technisch gereviseerd uurwerk en een zorgvuldig opnieuw afgewerkte kast zorgt ervoor dat deze Chronomat weer de uitstraling heeft die bij een Breitling hoort.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd0d Observatie<\/b><\/span>
\nEen hoogwaardige kast verdient dezelfde aandacht als het uurwerk. Bij een Breitling Chronomat draait restauratie niet alleen om nauwkeurigheid, maar ook om het behouden van de scherpe lijnen, afwisselende afwerkingen en het karakter van het ontwerp. Juist die combinatie maakt het eindresultaat compleet.<\/p>\n
